Privacy
Privacy and footage handling.
What we collect, where your footage lives, how long we keep it, and how to have it deleted.
What we collect
Two kinds of information, and nothing else:
- What you type into our forms — your name, email, channel or profile link, the format, level and duration you chose, the footage link, and any notes you add.
- Project material you send — the video, audio and image files, together with their filenames and folder structure.
We do not ask for payment card details on this website. We do not buy personal data from third parties.
Why we use it
- To review your request and decide whether we can take it on.
- To produce the edit you asked for.
- To deliver the preview, and after payment the master, through a private link.
- To keep basic records of work completed and prices quoted.
We do not use your information for advertising profiling, and we do not sell it.
Preview access records
When a preview link is opened we record the time, a truncated network prefix and the browser's user agent. This exists so we can tell whether a preview was opened and by roughly where — a preview is our copyright work released before payment, and that record is what protects it. We do not store full IP addresses.
How your footage is stored
Your footage goes directly from your device into private object storage (Cloudflare R2). The bucket is not public and cannot be browsed. Access is granted per project through an unguessable link, so one customer can never reach another customer's files.
We do not use third-party transfer portals or public upload sites for your material. Access is limited to the people working on your project.
Proxy workflow
When your footage arrives we generate lightweight proxy files and edit those. Editors do not cut your original camera files. Your originals stay archived and unaltered for the duration of the project.
How long we keep things, and deletion
- After a project closes, source files, proxy files, project files and exports are deleted from our systems on a 10-day policy.
- Preview copies stop working when the link expires and are deleted with the rest of the project.
- You can request immediate deletion at any time by email, and we confirm in writing once it is done.
- Download your master before the window closes. The copy lives in our storage rather than yours, so once deleted we cannot recover it.
- Basic records (name, email, what was quoted, what was paid) may be kept longer where accounting or legal obligations require it.
We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent or trade your personal information or your footage to anyone, for any purpose.
No AI training without permission
Your footage is not used to train artificial intelligence models — ours or anyone else's — unless you give us explicit written permission first.
No portfolio or marketing use without permission
We do not put your footage or finished video in our portfolio, on social media, in advertisements or in any public showcase unless you have given explicit written permission. Confidentiality is the default on every project.
Ownership of your content
You own your source footage at all times. Ownership of the finished edit transfers to you when payment clears; before that the edit is EITRI's property and the preview is licensed to you for review only. This is set out in the terms of service.
Service providers
We use ordinary infrastructure to run the service — Cloudflare for hosting and object storage, and email for correspondence. Those providers process data under their own terms as our processors. We share only what is necessary to deliver your project, and never for their marketing.
Your rights
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. You can withdraw permission you previously gave for portfolio or marketing use. Email us and we will act on the request and confirm in writing.
Children
This service is intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information we will update this page. Material changes affecting existing projects are communicated by email.
